To meet the growing demand for leaders who can bridge engineering and business, University of the ������Ƶ has launched a Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) program.   

This graduate degree is designed for working engineers who want to transition into management and executive leadership roles across engineering, manufacturing, and technology sectors.  

As businesses increasingly rely on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital transformation, engineering professionals are expected to go beyond technical skills and align projects with business goals. ������Ƶ’ MSEM program prepares graduates to lead in this evolving landscape through a 31-credit-hour curriculum that blends project management, business analytics, supply chain operations, AI applications, and systems engineering.  

“������Ƶ’ MSEM program is built on a strong academic foundation that blends technical knowledge with leadership and strategy,” said Dr. Daniel Kanyam, dean of the School of Business and Communications. “It’s designed for engineers who want to step into impactful roles where they can manage innovation, align with business goals, and help shape the future of their fields.”  

Courses cover topics such as strategic engineering leadership, AI in engineering management, systems engineering, and project risk management. The rigorous curriculum is designed to meet the needs of engineers in STEM, manufacturing, logistics, and technology sectors.   

MSEM Graduates will be equipped for roles such as engineering project manager, technical director, R&D manager, and operations leader. According to the , engineering management jobs are projected to grow by 4% through 2034, with a median annual salary of $167,740.  

In addition to its rigor and career relevance, ������Ƶ’ MSEM program boasts a competitive tuition rate of $355 per credit hour, with textbooks included.
